The Design Museum in London and designer-in-residence, Stiliyana Minkovska, invited me to consider the places, spaces, and objects that best support birthing people. Today, one can find the resulting designs for birthing furniture permanently installed at the Home from Home Birth Centre at St Thomas' Hospital in London.
